Resurecting a post

December 11, 2009 by Ryan Livingston · Comments Off

It appears, whilst reformatting some older posts, I came across a link to a post that didn’t exist. Well, it did exist; it just never got entered into the WordPress Engine when we converted back in 2005! That’s right, a lost post. It happens. So, newly unearthed is A Day Late and a Dollar Menu Short aka Suing the Fat, originally ranted in November of 2002. Its message still holds true.

Day-To-Day 10th Anniversary Edition

October 27, 2009 by Ryan Livingston · Comments Off

10 years ago today Day-To-Day first appeared in the pages of the Saint Peter’s College newspaper, the Pauw Wow. And seeing that, believe it or not (if your new to these parts), this long shelved comic strip turned web comic was the raison d’etre for the NWOt.

So… guess what? I got myself a shovel and digging it up. Well, that is to say adding the few I’ve done now and again during the hiatus. Will it last longer than that? Who knows? But at least for the next couple of weeks (mondays, the classic time slot) the NWOt’s got fresh content (about freakin time).

Reintroducing Mr. Eccentric

Ladies and Gentlemen… I give you Mr. Eccentric – The NWOt’s own advise columnist is back from a well deserved “rest”. Check out his new blog here on the Otter, and also his new Myspace page (in case you don’t have enough oddballs in your top 34).

Kickstart In The Pants

Time to try this again… for real this time. As you can see, we’ve got yet another layout. This time its serious. We bought this template. Maybe the image of the piggy bank strewn across the floor will get this ship to shape up. (probably not).

It’s a splendid little WordPress theme, however, called RevolutionTheme (magazine variant). Brian Gardner has been at this game for quite a while and has build up a nice family of RevolutionThemes for the WordPress blogging system. They ain’t cheap, but they are worth it for near instantaneous websiteage!
